Zap!
Well it's been a year since we adopted Buster. First we had to change his name because I was already certified with a dog named Buster, So... We chose Zap. We spent the first several months teaching him advanced obedience, agility, direction and control and most importantly, how to hunt. We challenged the FEMA Foundation Skills Assessment Test this past fall and we passed with flying colors. This certification made him deployable as an Urban Search and Rescue Dog for Tennessee Task Force Three. In March 2009, he took the FEMA Type One Test and Zap passed. He is now a fully operational/deployable as a Federal Urban Search and Rescue Dog. There are only 223 dogs certified to this level in the nation! He is now operational with FEMA for the upcoming hurricane season. Good reports and compliments were sent to the Task Force. He is a such a pleasure to handle...Thanks again!
He's one of the best dogs to have passed through our kennel in years, and we wish that we had more like him. I have attached several photos of him. If you have any questions or just want to check up on him, please feel free to contact us at any time.
Thank You...
